John Santos, 77, of Brockton, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019. John Santos, son of the late Antone and Ida (Slyvia) Santos, departed this life on Saturday, July 27, 2019, for his Heavenly home and reunited with his beloved and devoted life partner Patricia M. (Pat) Jordan. Born on March 14, 1942, in Marion, Mass where he grew up and was affectionately known as "Nonnie" he attended the Supican school system. He moved to Brockton over 50 years ago. John was a man of many talents serving as a Manager and Bartender at Pete and Mary's for 34 years and was known as the Best Bartender in Town. He also worked for Ernie's Construction for 10 years and plowed snow for the town of Norwell for 30 years. John finished his working career as a lot attendant for First Student bus company retiring after 11 years of service. John was a kind and gentle man with a contagious smile and a great sense of humor. His favorite saying was " You got that Right!" He was an avid fisherman and a huge New England Patriots fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Marlon. John truly loved his family and adored his great-granddaughter, Brandhi. He was everyone's "Uncle John". He leaves to cherish his memories daughters Brenda Jews (Bill) of Owings Mills, MD, Brenda Gunderway of Mansfield, MA, Lisa Gunderway of Brockton, MA and one son Wayne Jordan of Norwood, MA, his sister Jeanette Santos of Plymouth, MA and brother Kenneth Santos of New Bedford, MA. Grandchildren include Bernard Gunderway, Marlon Gunderway, and Mishiko Redd, several great-grandchildren, Goddaughter Mellissa Roderick, his in-laws, many nieces, nephews, the Gunderway family and a host of other family and friends. He was also the brother of the late Tony Santos, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Santos and Carolyn "Pepi" Santos.
