John B. Scott John B. Scott , 86, of Brockton, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2010 at the BayPointe Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Brockton. He was the loving husband of Delia I. (Croce) Scott. Born July 6, 1924 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Charles Scott and Phoebe L. (Brewster) Scott. Raised in Brockton, he attended Brockton Schools. Mr. Scott served in the United States Navy. Mr. Scott worked for Jones and Vining Company in Brockton for over 37 years and then retired from Wood-Hu Kitchens, Inc. He was an avid gardener and a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. He is survived by his wife, Delia I. (Croce) Scott; his children, Carol Hunnewell and her husband Bernard of Brockton, Cheryl Hallee of Taunton, Tracey Hooper and her husband Robert of Stoughton and the late John B. Scott , Jr.; his grandchildren, Tina Marie Marr, Bernard Hunnewell, IV, Lisa Ann Kane and Patricia A. Leonard; his great-grandchildren, Alisa, Jordan, Marla, Brandon, Madison and Ryan; his siblings, Charles Scott, Paul Scott, Raymond Scott, Walter Scott, Kenneth Scott, Lillian Swederskas and Phyllis Scott; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Stanley Scott, Robert Scott, Ralph Scott, Donald Scott, Edna McNevin, Hazel Blatchford and Ethel Matta. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 24th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
