Obituary

John F. Serroni, age 75, of Brockton, formerly of Abington, died May 9, 2013 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a period of failing health. Born, raised and educated in Quincy, John was the son of the late Frank J. and Florence O. (Snow) Serroni. For ten years he had been employed as a machinist for Tubular Rivet and Stud in Quincy. He was friendly and outgoing and enjoyed boating.

John is survived by a daughter Sharon Dauphinee of Fall River, two grandsons, three brothers George and his wife Karen of Plymouth, Robert of Florida and James of Pittsfield; five sisters Rose Ribeiro of East Bridgewater, Katherine Morris of Quincy, Norma Rinaldi and her husband Louis of Quincy, Jean LaForest of Braintree and Ruth Rynne and her husband Duncan of Plymouth. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Artie Clapp of Quincy.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
