Obituary

John H. “Buddy” Spellacy, III, age 63, of Brockton, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at his home following a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Brockton, he was the son of Marie (LeMoing) Spellacy of Brockton and the late John H. Spellacy, Jr. John was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School and made deliveries for C.A.C.R. for many years. John’s hobbies included carpentry, camping, and working on cars. John’s favorite time was spent at home with his girlfriend of 30 years, Janet Loughlin and cooking Sunday dinners for his family. He was a good neighbor and friend to many and would do anything for them.

John is also survived by his daughter Jessica Klemp of Onset; stepdaughter Lorrinda Whitman of Brockton; his grandchildren Jason and Jenna Klemp of Onset; step grandchildren Caitlin Whitman of Brighton, Shannon Dodge of Rhode Island, and Brandon Dodge and his fiancé Elizabeth Hathaway of Taunton and a great granddaughter Sophia.

A Memorial Gathering will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
