Krikorian, of Brockton, November 16, 2001, John Krikorian Sr. Husband of Jeannine C. (LaCouture) Krikorian. Father of John Krikorian Jr., Glenn E. Krikorian both of Brockton and LeeAnn Krikorian of W. Roxbury. Brother of the late Sarkis J. Krikorian.

pFuneral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in St. Edward Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Monday 4-8pm.

Mr. Krikorian died Friday at his home after a lengthy illness. Born in Stoneham MA, son of the late Anna (Manzilgian) and Krikor Krikorian. Mr. Krikorian attended Abington schools and was a graduate of Abington High School, Class of 1941. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Air Force. After the war he attended and graduated from William McGowan’s Professional Umpire School in Tampa FL., then becoming a Professional Baseball Umpire. He played semi-professional football for the Abington Olde Town Team. In 1960 he became a police officer for the city of Brockton retiring in 1983 as a patrolman. While a police officer he attended and graduated from Massasoit Community College receiving his associates degree in Law Enforcement. He was a member of the South Eastern Massachusetts Umpires Association, the New England Football Officials Association retiring in 1981, and he had been President of the Massachusetts Police Association, Brockton Branch, for 15 years, Brockton Police Relief Association, and currently served as the Vice President of the Municipal Retirees of Police and Firefighters Association. He had been a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Jeannine C. (LaCouture) Krikorian. 2 sons, John Krikorian Jr., and Glenn E. Krikorian both of Brockton1 daughter LeeAnn Krikorian of W. Roxbury.1 niece 2 nephews, grand nieces and nephewsBrother of the late Sarkis J. Krikorian.
