Wordell of Brockton formerly of Stoughton May 11, 2003, John C. “Charlie” Wordell 55 years. Brother of Mary Perry of Revere, Barbara Rabaglia of Burlington, Pauline Blokker of Osterville and Edward Wordell of Easton.
Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 7 pm. Visitation prior to the service 5-7 pm. Obituary
Mr. Wordell died Sunday morning at the Brockton VA Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born and raised in Somerville son of the late Morton and Alice (Norton) Wordell. He was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1966.
For the past 5 years he has been a resident of Brockton and previously he lived in Stoughton for 10 years.Before his illness Mr. Wordell was employed at Newstamp Lighting Co. in Easton.
During the Viet Nam Conflict he served in the US Army.
He was a collector of curio items and was an avid reader.He is survived by 3 sisters and a brother (as above) 8 nieces and nephews and 3 great nieces and nephews. He also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins
