Johnnie Mae (Wigfall) Mitchell, 68, of Brockton passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Blue Hills Health & Rehabilitation Center in Stoughton. Born October 7, 1949 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Thelma (Smith) Wigfall. She is survived by her son, Dana L. Mitchell; grandchildren, Dana LaMar Mitchell, III and Cameron Robert Mitchell; Siblings, Alvena "Ducky" Wigfall, Charles A. Wigfall, James W. Dixon, Cynthia Wigfall, Adolph D. Wigfall, Lorenzo Wigfall and Chuck Jackson; God brothers, Cory Allen and Walter Rice; a host of nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews and cousins; and friends, Jennifer, Theresa, Silvia, Evora and William. She was the grandmother of the late, Dana LaMar Mitchell, Jr. and sister of the late Dornell Wigfall. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00AM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt.123) Brockton. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 9:00AM to 10:00AM.
