Obituary

Jonathan D. Pettey age 28 of Brockton, died Sunday June 3, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. He was born in Boston to Nancy E. (Berg) Pettey of Brockton and David Pettey of Taunton. Jon was a lifelong resident of Bridgewater before moving to Brockton several years ago and was a 2002 graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School and the Motorcycle Mechanical Institute in Orlando, Florida. He was formerly employed at Bettencourts in West Bridgewater.

Jon enjoyed sports and music and will be remembered for his sense of humor and personable nature. He was loved by all and is sorely missed by his beloved dog Rocket.

In addition to his parents Jon is survived by his sisters Jennifer Pettey of Brockton and Kristen Pettey of Taunton; his grandmother Mary Nesseralla of Brockton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was the brother of the late Christopher Pettey and grandson to the late Henry Nesseralla and Phyllis and John Pettey.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday 5-8 pm. Funeral Service in the funeral home Friday at 10am, followed by burial in Melrose Cemetery.
