Jose Brito Jose Brito , 80, of Brockton, formerly of Cape Verde, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. He was the husband of Julia (Monteiro) Brito. Born May 31, 1929 in San Nicolau, Cape Verde, he was the son of the late Ana Antonia DosSantos. He is survived by his children, Ana Rosa, John Brito, Clara Julia Brito, Mario Brito, Hirondina Brito, Antonio Brito, Ana Julia Brito, Manuel Brito, Pedro Brito, Maria Brito, and Nelson Brito; he is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, October 17th at 8:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Church, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
