Born April 24, 1950 in Fogo, Cape Verde he was the son of Jose Rodrigues and Palmira (Silva) Gomes. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Eloisa R. Lopes, Elisa R. Lopes, Elisandra Rodrigues, Helio Rodrigues, Sonia S. Rodrigues, Danielson Da Silveira Rodrigues, Monica Da Silveira Rodrigues, Roseleny Teixeira Rodrigues and Ileizy R. Victor.
