Josefina Rosa Ribeiro Josefina Rosa Ribeiro , 71, of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at her home under the care of her family and hospice. She was the wife of Joao Ribeiro. Born March 18, 1939 in Fogo, Cape Verde, she was the daughter of the late Miguel Soares Rosa and Julia DaRosa. She is survived by her children, Isabel Ribeiro Almeida, Crisalida Cabral, Estefania Rosa, Julia Rosa, Vera Rosa, Maria Jose Ribeiro, Cassio Ribeiro and the late Benvinda Mendes; she is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, December 18th at 8:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Edith Stein/St. Edward Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton at 9:00AM.
