Obituary

Allerby of Brockton, October 5, 2003, Joseph F. Allerby, 80 years. Brother of Hazel I. Haskell of Brockton and the late Milton R. Allerby.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8pm. Donations in his name may be made to Sacred Heart School Endowment Fund, 243 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302.

Obituary Information

Joseph F. Allerby died unexpectedly Sunday evening at Brockton Hospital after being stricken at his home. He was born in Brockton, son of the late James and Ora (LaMontagne) Allerby, he had been a lifelong resident of Brockton. He attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School. During WWII he served in the US Army. He had been employed by Alden Products as a molder for over 25 years, was an avid golfer, a member of DW Field Golf Course, and a member of Club National.

He is survived by his sister Hazel I. Haskell of Brockton, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Milton R. Allerby.
