Online Obituaries Joseph C. Barbour, 75, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at his home in Wareham surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Diane (Abruzzese) Barbour. Born May 26, 1942 in Brockton, MA he was a son of the late Leo Barbour and Hester (Hodgins) Barbour. Joe was a graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1960. He served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army. Joseph and his wife owned and operated Liberty Printing Company in Brockton for over 35 years. He was a former resident of Brockton, East Bridgewater and Bridgewater. Joe was an avid Red Sox and Celtics fan. He was devoted to his family. In addition to his loving wife Diane, he is survived by his children, Matthew Barbour and his wife Paula of Sandwich and Christopher Barbour of Avon. He was the brother of the late Mary and Leo Barbour. Funeral Information Following cremation, a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt28) WEST BRIDGEWATER on Friday, June 30th from 4:00-8:00PM. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1st at 9:00AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated for the repose of his soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
