It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph H. Bessette, 72, of Carver, who passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Beth Israel Hospital in Plymouth after a brief battle of cancer. His loving wife of 52 years Joan ( Conti ) Bessette was by his side.
Born December 14, 1952 in Boston, he was the son of the late Joseph Bessette. and Mary (Sullivan) Bessette. Raised in Randolph , and attended Randolph Schools.
Joe spent 10 years working at KAO Info Systems in Plymouth, MA where he formed many friendships.
After retiring from Majors RV , he decided to continue to work in the field that he loved as a Parts & Service Technician working with RV's and he finished his career at Rousseau's RV center.
He loved camping , attending Patriots and Celtics games but was an avid lover of all New England Teams. He enjoyed all types of music that stemmed from his hobby of being a DJ , but country music was his favorite to listen to. He loved to spend time with his family and enjoyed watching his kids and grandkids play a variety of sports. He was always there to help and support them and be their biggest fan.
He is survived by his wife Joan (Conti) Bessette; his children, Joseph Bessette and his wife Nadine of E. Taunton, Melissa Ramsey and her husband Stephen of Middleboro; his grandchildren, Madison Ramsey, Paul Joseph Ramsey, Abigael Bessette and Logan Bessette; his siblings, Mary Young, Eileen MacNiven, Joann Monestime and John Bessette.
Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 17 Main St., (Rt105) Lakeville on Monday, April 21st from 4:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Services in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22nd at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Middleboro. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Lakeville Animal Shelter, 8 Montgomery St., Lakeville, MA 02347.
