, 86, of Brockton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital. He was the husband of Lea A. (Plouffe) Camillone.
Born April 23, 1925 in Brockton, he was the son of the late Antonio Camillone and Maria (DiMazo) Camillone. Raised in Brockton he attended Brockton Schools before serving in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS KALININ BAY in the Pacific.
Mr. Camillone was a retired machinist and had worked for Ideal Industries of Canton for over 40 years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post #35 and enjoyed football, baseball and walking at the mall.
He is survived by his wife, Lea A. (Plouffe) Camillone; his children, Sue Ann Choate and Brian J. Camillone and his wife Margaret all of Brockton; his grandchildren, Lisa Bisbee and her husband Andrew and Matthew Choate; his great-grandchildren, Ava and Tyler Bisbee; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Nicholas Camillone, Ann Enos, Livia Daugirda, Gloria Gouvia and Jennie Allen.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, February 4th at 9:00AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home Friday 4:00-7:00PM.
