Joseph James Catrambone, 94, of Brockton, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020 at CareOne at Randolph. He was the husband of Germaine J. (LeBlanc) Catrambone. Born in Brockton on November 29, 1925, he was the loving son of the late Marion Celia. Joseph joined the United States Coast Guard in 1943 and fought during World War II. Joseph was a retired Brockton firefighter. He was a member of the YMCA and enjoyed playing racquetball, playing solitaire and fiddling on the guitar. He was also an avid Boston sports fan. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Alan Catrambone, Joyce Pulsifer and Tina Wilson; his grandchildren, Robert Gilmore, Joey Gilmore, Brandi Short and Amber Short; and his great-grandchildren, Brennan Short, Autumn Messina and Allston Gilmore. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, services are private for immediate family.
