Dias of Brockton December 22, 2002 Joseph M. Dias 64 years. Husband of Annette S. (Smith) Dias. Father of Danielle Dias, Deborah Fitzgerald, Donna Miranda, Denise DeBellis and Michelle Brewer. Grandfather of Jennifer, Brandon, Matthew and Katelyn. Brother of Tony Dias.

A Memorial Service will be held in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 1 pm.

Obituary Information

Mr. Dias died Sunday morning at the New England Sinai Hospital, Stoughton after a lengthy illness.He was born in Taunton son of the late Antonio and Maria (Souza) Dias and was a lifelong resident of Brockton.He was an inspector at Weymouth Art Leather in Braintree for over 30 years.He was a veteran of the US Army and was stationed in Korea.He enjoyed working on cars, attending car shows and watching Nascar racing.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 5 daughters Danielle Dias of Brockton; Deborah Fitzgerald of Malden; Donna Miranda of Taunton, Denise DeBellis of Oxford and Michelle Brewer of Attleboro, four grandchildren, one brother Tony Dias of Brockton and several nieces and nephews
