Online Obituaries Joseph Fratalia, 70, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at home under the care of his family and hospice following a period of failing health. He was the husband of Julia (Cashin) Fratalia of Duxbury. Born April 14, 1944 in Boston, MA he was the son of the late Antonio and Iride (Gisseline) Fratalia. Joseph was a lifelong resident of Brockton, graduating from Brockton High School Class of 1962. He was employed as a mechanic and loved old cars and hot rods. In addition to his wife he is survived by his siblings; Anthony Fratalia of Whitman, Gino Fratalia of Brockton, Angelo Fratalia of Milton and Albert Fratalia of Florida. He was the father of the late Joseph J. Fratalia. Funeral Information A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 12:00PM in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.
