Joseph W. Gallagher, Jr., 62, of North Reading, MA passed away unexpectedly on June 7th. Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Joseph Gallagher, Sr. and Mary Gilman.

He is survived by his wife Kwi Gallagher, daughters Kaitlin Gallagher of Attleboro MA and her fiancé Kyle Stringfellow and Jacalin Gallagher and partner Jason McLaughlin of Concord, NH. He is also survived by his brother William Gallagher of Laconia, NH, sister Erin Apostolos and her husband James of Alexandria, NH, life-long friends Keith and Michelle Zewiey of North Reading, MA and numerous loving cousins.

Joe grew up in Malden, MA before moving with his family to Norfolk, VA, later returning to Massachusetts. A gifted mechanic, he was a member of the International Union of Elevator Contractors Local Four and recently retired from that profession. Joe enjoyed listening to Bob Marley music, watching classic films and late-night reruns of Perry Mason. In his retirement he enjoyed spending more time with his children.

He enjoyed going to restaurants with Kaitlin and enjoyed a love of working on cars with Jacalin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him 💕
