Joseph "Joey" William Guarino, 44, of South Easton, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 unexpectedly but peacefully at Boston Medical Center with his beloved wife Shana, whom he cherished more than anything, by his side. Joey was born and raised in Brockton. He attended Brockton public schools and Southeastern Vocational High School, where he took electricity. After High School, Joey continued electrical work and got his journeyman's license. He worked for several small companies throughout the South Shore, and then went to work for IBEW local 103, the electrical union in Boston. Joe and his wife Shana bought a home and started a family in Brockton. Joe left 103 and went into business for himself. He was most proud of his two biggest accomplishments, his daughters, Sloan Elizabeth and Saige Nicole. Joey was an avid golfer and loved to play horseshoes and hang out with his friends. He was a brilliant electrician and had the ability to solve what everybody else said could not be solved. Joey will be missed terribly by all that loved and knew him. In addition to his wife Shana, to whom he had been together with for over 23 years, Joe is also survived by his two daughters Sloan and Saige, both of Easton; his sister in law Erica of Washington D.C., his sister in law Korey and her two sons Brayden and Blake of Attleboro; his brother Jim of Brockton, his younger brother Dan and his partner Brian of New York; his father James and his wife Cindy of West Bridgewater and his mother Maureen of Taunton. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, services will be private and immediate family only. A public memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, December 1st 10:00am at St. Anne's church, 103 North Main St. in West Bridgewater.
