(Flag) Hickey of Brockton, October 3, 2002 Joseph F. Hickey, 86 years. Husband of the late Helen M. ( Paul ) Hickey. Beloved father of Kevin P. Hickey of Middleboro and the late Jo-Ellen F. Hickey.

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home138 Belmont Street (Rte123) Brockton Monday at 11:00 am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery Braintree. Visiting hours Sunday 3 to 7pm.

ObituaryMr. Hickey died unexpectedly Thursday evening at the Caritas Good Samaritan Hospital Born in Rockland, son of the late John S. and Florence G. (Hannon) Hickey Mr. Hickey had been a resident of Rockland until moving to Brockton in 1948.

A graduate of Rockland High School Class of 1934. During WW II he served in the US Navy as a stateside firefighter instructor SP (F) 2/c.

Mr. Hickey was a retired Brockton firefighter, retiring in 1979. Life member of Boston Sparks Association and member of the Brockton American Legion Post 35He is survived by a son Kevin P.
