Obituary

Joseph E. Julio, Sr. age 93 of Brockton died Thursday January 12, 2012 at Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of 66 years of Rilma J. (Nason) Julio. Joseph was born in Brockton a son of the late Frank and Virginia (Mennino) Julio and remained a lifelong resident of the city. He attended Brockton schools and retired from Teamsters Union Local 653 having worked many years for A.L Cedergren Trucking.

Joseph and his wife Rilma enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and extensive travel. He treasured time spent with his family and playing games with them.

In addition to his wife he leaves three children Joseph E. Julio, Jr. and his wife Kathy of E. Bridgewater, Brian M. Julio of Arizona and Debra M. Julio of Brockton; two grandchildren Kristee M. McCusker and her husband Michael of NC and Anthony J. Julio of CA and one great grandson Joseph McCusker. He was the brother of Michael Julio of Carver, Frank Julio and Theresa Kelley both of Brockton and the late Mary Kavaloskous, Anthony and John Julio. He also leaves several nieces and nephews

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday 2-5pm with a Funeral Service at 4:30pm. Burial at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
