Online Obituaries Joseph Francis Medico, 53, of West Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at his home in West Bridgewater under the care of his family and hospice. He was the husband of Karen (Shaw) Medico. Born February 4, 1964 in Malden, he was the son of Sally (Shaak) Medico Anastasio and the late Frank Medico. Raised in Holbrook he graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical High School where he played football and holds the record for scoring 5 touchdowns in one game. Joseph was an Equine Relocation Specialists for J.R. Hudson Horse Transportation of West Bridgewater since 1995. He was very active in his childrens sporting events and enjoyed coaching football. He was an avid fisher and hunter. Joseph most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends for Sunday Dinners. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Joseph Francis Medico, Jr., Frank Paul Medico and his wife Jennifer, Anthony Salvatore Medico and his wife Ashley, Nicholas Edward Medico, Kevin Ronald Medico and Roseanne Alicia Hopkinson and her fianc Kent Coffey; his grandchildren, Olivia, Ariana, Tyler, Lila and Maci; his sisters, Jean Barido and her husband George, Diane Haley and her husband Dan and Susan Tirrell and her husband Jim; his sister-in-law, Kathy Spencer; his former wife Nancy Gardner; he is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
