Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, Brockton at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Friday 4-8 pm. Donations in Joseph’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., Memorial Honor Program Call Center, P.O. Box 2680, No. Canton, OH 44720.
Obituary
Mr. Morse died unexpectedly Tuesday evening at the Boston University Medical Center. Born in Brockton, son of the late Theodore E. and Edith M. (Junior) Morse. He had lived most of his life in Brockton before moving to E. Bridgewater 22 years ago. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1954. Mr. Morse had been a truck driver for Francis Reagan for several years. Most recently he was a security guard and maintenance for Massasoit Community College. He had been a member of Laborers Local 721 and helped construct the Pilgrim Power Plant, the Schaeffer Stadium and Cardinal Cushing Hospital. Also a member of Knight of Columbus, Seville Council for 51 years. Mr. Morse enjoyed football, baseball and loved visiting his grandchildren every Sunday
He is survived by a son, James S. Morse and his wife Marcia of Wareham, two granddaughters, Victoria and Alyssa Morse, two brothers, Ted Morse and his wife Elaine of Bridgewater and James of Brockton, four sisters, Mary Shulman of Brockton; Betty Massey of Maine; Diane Morse and Beverly Foster both of Brockton and many nieces and nephews
