Noonan of Brockton December 14, 2006, Joseph L. “Joe” Noonan 63 years. Father of Jay Noonan and his wife Diane of Stoughton; Joseph L. Noonan Jr. and his wife Joslyn of VA and Daniel Noonan and his wife Sharon of Medford. Grandfather of Melissa and JJ. Brother of Dorothy Morton of Bridgewater; Kathleen Schultz of AZ; Linda Scully of Taunton; Lawrence Noonan of W. Bridgewater; Robert Noonan of AZ; Edward and Roger Noonan both of Brockton and the late Raymond and Richard Noonan. Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Monday at 11 am with visitation at 10 am. Burial at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Joe’s name may be made to the DAV at Brockton VA Medical Center 940 Belmont St. Rm A230, Brockton MA 02301.
Obituary
Joseph L. Noonan, 63 years of Brockton died unexpectedly at a local hospital. He was born, raised and educated in Brockton a son of the late Gregory F. Noonan and Eileen (Doherty) (Noonan) Stepanski. He remained a life long resident of the city.
During the Viet Nam conflict he served in the US Army. He retired from Grant Steel Company in Braintree after many years as a power equipment operator.
Mr. Noonan was a past member of the American Legion and Ireland’s Own. He enjoyed fresh water fishing and traveling.
He is survived by 3 sons Jay Noonan and his wife Diane of Stoughton; Joseph L. Noonan Jr. and his wife Joslyn of VA and Daniel Noonan and his wife Sharon of Medford. He leaves 2 grandchildren and was the brother of Dorothy Morton of Bridgewater; Kathleen Schultz of AZ; Linda Scully of Taunton; Lawrence Noonan of W. Bridgewater; Robert Noonan of AZ; Edward and Roger Noonan both of Brockton and the late Raymond and Richard Noonan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews
