Joseph M. Souza, Age 92 of West Bridgewater, MA, passed away on December 4, 2024. Joseph "Joe" was born in West Bridgewater to the late Joseph and Helen (Burgess) Souza and is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lucille (Barrasso) Souza; his 3 children, Kathleen Weeks and husband Alan of Easton, Joseph M. Souza and his wife Donna of West Bridgewater, and James B. Souza and his wife Terri of West Bridgewater. Joe was pre-deceased by his brother Walter Souza. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Megan, Jeffrey, Kayla, Laura, Joseph, Danielle, Justin and Bryan; and 6 great grandchildren, Warren, Samantha, Wade, Elizabeth, June and Edward.

Joe graduated from West Bridgewater High School and was a standout athlete who excelled at a number of varsity sports. During his working career he was a member of the IBEW 223 as a licensed master electrician until his retirement. Joe also served as an officer on the West Bridgewater Police Department.

Joe gave back to the community by serving on several committees within West Bridgewater. He especially enjoyed his many years on the Conservation Committee. Joe was a gifted artist who enjoyed painting, woodworking and whittling items for his many family members.
