Joseph G. Tabbaa, 83, of Easton passed away in the presence of his loving wife and children on January 8, 2023. Born in Lattakia, Syria on October 1, 1939, Joseph was the son of the late Gabriel Tabbaa and Marie Issa. Joseph was one of a pair of identical twins.

Joseph was a self-made businessman who worked in areas including: international import and export, construction, real estate, and freight.

Joseph had a very benevolent nature and was always helping others. He enjoyed spending time with his seven grandchildren. Joseph had a love of nature's creatures, especially birds. Joseph's family will miss his zest for life, sense of humor, and his contagious, hearty laugh.

Joseph always made you feel welcome.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 53 years, Buchra Youssef, his children: Joe Tabbaa and Shannon Tuley, Drs. Michael and Lisa Tabbah, and Zeina Tabbaa-Hanna and Tony Hanna, his grandchildren: Laila, Robert, Lea, Richard, Joseph Michael, Joseph Ghassan, and Jack.

Joseph is also survived by his brother, Jack, of Spain. He is pre-deceased by his twin brother, George.

Visitation will be held at the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton, on Wednesday, January 11, from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Teresa Church , 343 North Main Street, Brockton at 12pm on Thursday, January 12. Burial will follow at South Easton Cemetery, Easton.
