Obituary

Josephine S. "Zuzu" (Ishac) Asack, 71, of Brockton passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at home. Born in Akoura, Lebanon on March 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Sarkis Ishac and Jeanette (Arab) Ishac. She came to Brockton in 1967 and remained a life long resident. She graduated the Brockton School of Cosmetology in 1973 and was a hairdresser for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, playing cards, cooking and enjoyed sharing her Lebanese culture. She was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and grandmother (sitto). She was a resident of Sullivan Towers for 25 years, and had many friends who will miss her. She was a life long communicant of St. Theresa Catholic Maronite Church in Brockton. Josephine was the wife of the late Louis G. Asack Jr. of Brockton. She is survived by her loving sons, Louis G. Asack, III. and his wife Marta of East Bridgewater, Michael J. Asack and his partner Nathan of South Easton; her adored grandsons, Mark, Alexander and Gabriel; her devoted sister-in-law, Madeline Asack wife of the late George S. Asack Sr.; her cherished nieces, Shirley Asack-Younes and her husband Ghaleb ( their daughters Alexandra and Georgina) Joyce Asack; her Godson, George Asack and his wife Christine ( their daughters Samantha and Rebecca). Her brothers; Joseph, Constantine, Charbel, Ishac and sister of the late Georgette Fram. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services of the Divine Liturgy will be held at St.Theresa Catholic Maronite Church, 343 North Main St., Brockton on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt.123) Brockton on Thursday 4:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Josephine's memory may be made to St.Theresa Maronite Catholic Church, PO Box# 2567, Brockton, MA 02305. ************************* COVID-19 Funeral Home Capacity Restrictions******************** Russell & Pica Funeral Homes Guidelines when attending a funeral wake/service. All visitors when returning to their cars will please exit the property to allow others to enter. All visitors will be able to greet family members from a safe distance but not able to touch.
