Josephine T. Madonna Josephine T. (Dziergowski) Madonna, 84, of Brockton, died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 peacefully at her home in Brockton. She was the beloved wife for 54 years of Augustino A. Madonna. Born September 15, 1924 in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Stanislaw Dziergowski and Mary (Mollis) Dziergowski. Josephine was raised in Bridgewater and attended Bridgewater Schools. She worked as an office clerk for J.J. Newbury in Bridgewater and was a homemaker. Josephine lived in Brockton for the last 54 years of her life. She was a former communicant of St. Margaret's Parish in Brockton. Her greatest joy in life was caring for and loving her family. Josie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her kind ways. She is survived by her beloved husband, Augustino A. Madonna of Brockton. She was the loving mother of her four children, Diane T. Rudolph and her husband Gary of Brockton, Carol A. O'Connor and her husband Paul of Brockton, Brenda M. Connolly and her husband Tom of Bridgewater and Steven Madonna and his wife Susan of Easton; she is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Stanley Dziergowski, Alex Dziergowski, Mett Dziergowski and Sophia Dziergowski. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Friday, December 5th at 8:00AM thence to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 103 Center St., Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
