Joshua "Josh" Jorge, 30, of Brockton, a loving son, brother, boyfriend, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 13, 2025.

Born on April 28, 1995, in Stoughton, he was the adored son of João Jorge and the late Rosa Andrade.

He grew up in Brockton and attended Brockton schools. Throughout his life, he found joy in creating art and music, spending time with his loved ones, and bringing laughter to others. Later in life, Joshua lived on the Cape, where he worked on steamships and found peace by the water.

He leaves to cherish his memory: João Jorge, Veronica Jorge, Ethan Barbosa, Raz Kamal, Maria Goncalves and a host of other family and friends.

Calling hours will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., Brockton, on Sunday, December 28, from 5–8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main St., Brockton, on Monday, December 29th, at 10 am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 99 North Cary St., Brockton, followed by a Celebration of Life at VENUE 727, 340 Warren Ave., Brockton.

Joshua was admired by many for his perseverance and resilience. His spirit will live on in love, light, and peace.
