Joyce Elaine Hall, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, matriarch, and friend passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2023 with her family by her side.
Joyce was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on March 9th, 1943. As an enthusiastic conversationalist, Joyce made friends everywhere she went. She had an active social life and loved to enjoy meals with her loved ones, especially Italian food. Passionate about the arts, Joyce created beautiful paintings that adorn the walls of her family's homes. Joyce was the life of the party, and she attended every ball game, recital, or birthday, often in her trademark velour jumpsuit.
Joyce devoted her life to raising her family and was dedicated to her grandchildren Nick Gill, Quentin Hall, Colleen Hall, Alison Gill, Hayden Hall, Olivia Hall, Brady Hall, Matthew Hall, Danielle Sawiski and her husband Brian Sawiski. She is also survived by her three children and their spouses; Laurie Hall and Walter Reed, Michael and Mariane Hall, and Christopher and Marianne Hall; her two sisters, Jean Dillan and Mary Jo Lorray; her former son-in-law and his family, Geoff, Karen, and Tori Gill; her three great-grandchildren, Lilly, Rose, and Paul Sawiski; and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main St., (Rt. 28) West Bridgewater on Wednesday, August 23rd at 12:00PM thence to St. Ann's Church, 103 North Main St., West Bridgewater where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 1:00PM. Calling hours in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00-7:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her honor to Tufts Medical Center, Neely Neurosurgical Unit.
