Online Obituaries Juan I. Cruz, 69, of Brockton, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital in Stoughton. He was the husband of the late Gloria DelValle. Born January 28, 1943 in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Melguidia Ocasio and the late Juan Cruz. Juan came from Puerto Rico to the Bronx, N.Y. at age 5 where he was raised and educated. He came to Brockton in 1988 where he made his home. Juan worked as a custodian for Boston Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Boston. He is survived by his children, Melguida Cruz, Israel Cruz, Michelle Cruz, Barbara Cruz, Juan Cruz, Jr., Iris Ramirez and Vidia Gallion. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Calling hours in the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St.,(Rt123) Brockton on Saturday, July 21st from 11:00AM-1:00PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 1:00PM.
