Judith Anne Boucher, age 78, formerly of West Warwick, RI and longtime resident of Brockton, MA, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2018. Judy passed on at peace, surrounded by her loving family. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island in the class of 1960, where she met her devoted husband, Robert, with her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. During her time at school she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She had a clever and curious mind and her quest for learning did not end with her graduation, a trait she passed on to her four children. In time she would become an accomplished cook, seamstress, gardener and was engaged in many interesting and varied hobbies. Her interests spanned travel, history, antiques, science, etc. She served as the Co-owner and CFO of Boucher Insurance, alongside her husband "the CEO" Robert and their two sons. Her beautiful life will forever be remembered in the lives of her husband of 57 years Robert, her family: her daughter Debra Boucher of Brockton, MA, her late son Mark Boucher and his wife Patti of Easton, MA, Michelle "Suzy" O'Brien and her husband Grady of Fort Collins, CO, her son Brian Boucher and his wife Amy of West Bridgewater, MA; her brother Richard Meunier of Arvada, CO; and her eight grandchildren Kendyll, Jake, Hannah, Claire, Cole, Abbie, Lauren, and Megan. She was a loving mother and an incredibly devoted memere (grandmother), she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by the family and friends who survive her. Following Cremation a Memorial Gathering will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Saturday, February 17th from 2:00PM-5:00PM.
