Dorgan and his wife Linda of Carver. Grandmother of Mary Ellen Mullaney, Julie Dorgan, Michael, John and Brian Dorgan. Great grandmother of Megan Mullaney.
Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass In St. Colman Church at 9 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.Visiting Hours Monday 3-7 pm. Donations in Julia’s memory May be made to St. Joseph’s Manor Chapel Fund, 215 Thatcher St.,Brockton, MA 02302.
Mrs. Dorgan died Tuesday evening at St. Joseph’s Manor after aperiod of failing health. Born in Brockton, daughter of the late Michael J. and Abby (Sullivan) Donahue. Life long resident of Brockton. Graduate of Brockton High School Class of 1933. She was a homemaker who chose to stay home to raise her family. Long time parishioner of St. Colman Church. a former daily communicant and a member of the Ladies Sodality.
She is survived by 2 daughters Anne Farrell of Kingston and Jane Starinskas of Whitman and W. Yarmouth. 2 Sons John J. “Joe” Dorgan of Brockton and Robert E. Dorganof Carver. 5 Grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and Several nieces and nephews. Wife of the late John J. Dorgan, Sr. Sister of the late John, Michael, William, Patrick and Daniel Donahue.
