Julia Rivera passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was the wife of the late Hector Manuel Rivera. Born August 1, 1939 in Orocovis, Puerto Rico she was the daughter of the late, Angel Flores Aponte and Perfecta Gonzalez Ortiz. Julia was passionate about preaching good news of God's Kingdom. She also enjoyed sewing, watching the Food Network Channel, shopping and cooking. She is survived by 4 children; Jose Enrique Flores, David Rivera, Nancy Jannett Martinez (Rivera) and Diann Monteiro (Rivera), 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters (1 deceased) 4 brothers (2 deceased); 10 great grandchildren and 15 nieces and nephews.
