Justin "Jayden" Manuel DeSousa

Jayden “Justin” Manuel DeSousa, 25, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 6th, 2026. Born on July 13th, 2001, in Brockton, Jayden was the beloved son of Claudio DeSousa, Maria Henriques their stepmother Vicki DeSousa. From a young age, Jayden possessed a bright beautiful spirit and contagious laugh that could light up any room. Jayden brought immense joy, warmth, and light into our lives. They were a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Jayden was an avid gamer, lover of anime, coffee connoisseur and had a love for sushi. They looked forward to vacationing every year with close friends. They had a love for all animals, most of all their beloved pets Lola, Bear, Sheeba and Noodles. Jayden was kind hearted, loving and had a gentle spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know them. Family and friends meant so much to Jayden. They are survived by their loving parents, Claudio DeSousa, Maria Henriques of Arizona and their stepmother Vicki DeSousa; their sisters Savhanna Sousa and Ava Domingues; their paternal grandfather Manuel Nelo DeSousa and maternal grandmother, Eugenia Andrade; their aunts and uncles Angela, Claudia, Dina, Lucia, Tanya, Jack, Jeffery, Joey, and Manny; and a large, devoted circle of extended family and friends across the globe who will miss them beyond measure. They were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Alice Sousa.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm, in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont Street, Brockton, Massachusetts. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 11:00am, in the funeral home, followed by at the Pine Hill Cemetery, 483 N Main Street, West Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
