Obituary

Justina A. “Tina” Leurini, age 79, of Avon, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Natick. She was the loving wife of George Leurini. They were married for 46 years.

Born in Stoughton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Correia) Pombo.
Tina earned an associates degree from Bay State College.

She worked as a medical transcriptionist for Carney Hospital and Quincy Hospital for many years retiring in 2007. Prior to that she worked as a legal secretary.
Her interests include playing tennis in her early years, bowling with her husband, watching tennis, figure skating, and gameshows, especially Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She also enjoyed traveling and reading and was able to visit her son John while he was living in Ireland. Most of all she will be remembered as a loving wife and mother.

Besides her husband George, she leaves her two children, Jen L. Thorp, of Avon and John G. Leurini, of Framingham; and two grandchildren, Juliana Leurini and Daniela Leurini.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Tina’s family on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton. Interment will be private.
