Kalliope "Poppy" Croce Kalliope "Poppy" (Panagiotou) Croce, 84, of Taunton and formerly of Brockton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at the Taunton Nursing Home after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Euclid Croce, Jr. Born December 28, 1925 in Athens, Greece she attended schools in Greece. Poppy had been a Brockton resident for over 45 years and she loved sewing and gardening. She was devoted to her family and her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Daniel Croce and his wife Margaret of Raynham and Ida Cummings and her husband Timothy of Taunton; her grandchildren, Nicole and Amanda Cummings both of Taunton; her sisters, Georgia Biliouli and Maria Pantazatou both of Greece. She was the sister of the late Vassili Panagiotou. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Monday, June 7th at 8:00AM thence to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 433 West St., Brockton where a funeral mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 9:00AM.
