Kate (Poulos) Bislarides, 101, of Brockton, passed away Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Hellenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canton. She was the wife of Harry Bislarides. Born August 2, 1918 in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Stegos Poulos and Glykeria (Hatzis) Poulos. Raised in New Bedford, she graduated from New Bedford High School. She was a longtime member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Brockton and was very proud of her Greek heritage. She enjoyed cooking and her home and family. She is survived by her son, Anthony H. Bislarides and his wife Barbara of Brockton; her grandchildren, Laura Penticost and Tami Mooter; her great-grandchildren, Gino Allegra, Danielle Penticost, Ally Penticost and Colton Penticost; her great-great grandchild, Molly Bernardini; she is also survived by nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Karen Lee Bislarides and sister of the late Florence Kosta, Ourania Psilekaris, Peter Poulos, Dr. John Poulos and Thomas Poulos. Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (Rt123) Brockton on Wednesday, December 18th at 10:00AM followed by a funeral service in the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 457 Oak St., Brockton at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours on Tuesday from 4:00-7:00PM.
