Online Obituaries Kathleen S. (Brown) Bourne passed away peacefully at the Good Samaritan Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2015. Born on April 19, 1927, in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the loving daughter of the late Emanuel Brown and the late Byril Williams. She was the youngest of 3 sisters, Ivy Walters, Gwendolyn Davis, Amanda Brown and a brother James Brown. Kathleen lived in Jamaica until the age of 21 when she immigrated to London, England where she met and became a devoted wife to the late Eustace Bourne for over 30 years. After living in England for 20 years they moved to Winnipeg, Canada where they lived for 6 years. They eventually settled down in Brockton where she lived for over 40 years. Kathleen worked for many years as a nurse at Jewish Memorial Hospital in Boston. She retired in the late 80s where she enjoyed her hobbies of gardening, listening to music and playing dominos and seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor, a great listening ear and a big heart. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all. Everyone who knew her loved and respected her. She was a loving and caring mother of Errol M. Bourne and his wife Ingunn Bourne, Michael M. Bourne and her daughter the late Linda V. Walker (Bourne). She was a grandmother to Gary Walker, Talisa Walker, Shannyn Walker, Sharyn Walker, Johnetta Walker, Chelsea Bourne all of Brockton and Ashley Bourne of California. She was also a great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren. She leaves a dear friend Joseph Graham and Mollie Keizer along with many nieces, nephews and friends from Florida, Canada and England Funeral Information A Funeral Service will be held in the Russell & Pica Funeral Home on Saturday, November 14th at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the funeral home Friday from 4:00PM -7:00PM.
