Obituary

Kathleen A. Flynn 57, of Brockton, died September 25, 2011 at West Acres Nursing Home following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Born and raised in Brockton, Kathy was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ann (Burke) Flynn. She was a 1973 graduate of Brockton High School and attended Massasoit Community College. Kathy loved to socialize and was known for her kindness towards others. She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family, friends and West Acres family.

She is survived by four sons Shawn, Timothy, Christopher and his wife Jennifer, and Daniel Wood, a brother Joseph Flynn of Falmouth, a sister Maureen Jardin and her husband David of Stoughton, a niece and two nephews. She was the sister of the late Kevin Flynn.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Wednesday 9-11am with a Prayer Service at 11am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Kathy’s name may be made to West Acres Nursing Home, Resident Council Fund, 804 Pleasant Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
