Obituary

Kathleen (Owens) (Goodwin)Herbert 67 of Brockton died peacefully Tuesday June 1, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family after a long and courageous battle with cancer under the care and support of Old Colony Hospice. Kathleen was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Jack and Tilla (Gioiosa) Owens and lived in Brockton for most of her life. A graduate of Brockton High School she was primarily a homemaker. She lived her life for the Boston Red Sox, the Washington Redskins and most importantly her children and grandchildren. Kathleen will be remembered as being the fun of a party and for her signature crying.
She was the loving mother of Barbara Davenport of Brockton; Bill Goodwin of Middleboro, Clinton Herbert of E. Bridgewater and the late Maureen Goodwin. She is survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandson, a brother and two sisters Billy Owens and Maureen Puffer both of W. Bridgewater and Barbara Capen of Fall River and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later time.
