Obituary

Kathleen A. Horta, age 43 of Taunton, died unexpectedly at her home, July 18, 2020. Kathy was the daughter of Manuel Horta and Debra (Scully) Holcomb both of Bridgewater and stepdaughter of Philip Holcomb. She was born in Stoughton and raised and educated in Brockton and Easton. Kathy was dedicated to her family and was especially proud of her younger sister Kristen and her accomplishments. She was kind hearted and would give what she could to help others. For 18 years, her dog Princess gave her great joy and companionship.

Kathy was the loving sister of James Horta of Brockton and Kristen Holcomb of Bridgewater. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Friday, July 31, 2020, 9-10am with a Funeral Service at 10am. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery.
