Obituary

Kathleen R. “Kay” (Potts) Shea, 87, of Weymouth, formerly of Brockton, died February 12, 2011. She was the wife of the late Albert E. Shea. Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late James B. and Sarah J. (MacDonald) Potts. A resident of Brockton since 1964, Kay had been employed for many years at Leonard’s Restaurant, retiring as their Hostess. She enjoyed gardening, the lottery and bingo.

Kay is survived by her three children Stephen B. Shea and his wife Dianna of Brockton, Susan K. Arvidson and her husband Steven of Weymouth and Michael E. Shea and his wife Joan F. of W. Bridgewater; eight grandchildren Danielle, Jonathan, Erin, Christopher, Brenden, Kelsey, Zachary and Riley; one great granddaughter Isabella; her four brothers and sisters Irene Favret, Edith Bonito, John Potts, Frederick Potts and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late James, Francis, Robert and Richard Potts and Margie Scarpaci.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 11am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8pm.
