Obituary

Kathleen C. Payson, age 81, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Mark H. Payson for 58 years. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Paul B. and Rita F. (Maguire) Crowley.

Kathleen was raised in Lowell and lived in Brockton before moving to East Bridgewater in 2003. She was a graduate of Westford Academy and achieved her Bachelor's Degree from Rivier University. After raising her children, she became a bus driver for the Brockton School Dept. Kathleen was known to be extremely giving and supportive and would do anything for anyone.

In addition to her husband, Mark, Kathleen is survived by her loving children, Mark Payson, Jr. and his wife Kerry of Mansfield, and Lynne Payson of Salsbury. She was the dedicated grandmother of Mark Payson III, Devin Payson, and Drew Payson. She was the sister of Paul B. Crowley and the late Vinny Crowley.

Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 4-7pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Friday, March 14, 2025 at 9:30am for a Funeral Mass at 10:30am at Holy Ghost Parish, 518 Washington St., Whitman
