Obituary

Kathleen P. Ryder (Darcy) age 63, of Stoughton, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, at her home.

Born in Saratoga Springs, NY and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley J. and Arlene (Kosinski) Darcy.

She was a kind and generous person who was always down for an adventure. Her door was always open, and her favorite moments were when her family was all together. Kathy was talented with sewing often making clothing and costumes, even owning her own costume shop called Masquerade Mania in Brockton for ten years. She also enjoyed crafting, balloon making, going to the zoo, and road trips with her friends, often visiting historical landmarks and scenery.

Kathleen leaves her four children, Genevieve D. Hebert of Woburn, Katrina A. Ryder of Foxboro, Richard C. Ryder, Jr. of Stoughton, and Elizabeth A. Ryder, also of Stoughton; a sister Cecelia Darcy of Brockton; and two grandchildren Andrew and Rene. She was the grandmother of the late Gillian.

To honor her family's wishes, her funeral services will be held in the near future at a time and date to be determined.
