Online Obituaries Kathleen A. (Stern) Snelgrove, 71, of West Bridgewater and formerly Brockton, passed away on Mothers Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017. Born in Brockton, MA on May 6, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Bruno Stern and Lena (DeLuca) Stern. Kathleen was the youngest of seven children. Kathleen was married to John Kenny K. Snelgrove, Sr. in 1966 and later had her only child, John K. Snelgrove, Jr. in 1968. Kathy worked for the Brockton Police Department for nearly 30 years as a clerk for the Detectives, where she still maintained many friendships. Kathy enjoyed visiting her friends and family. She attended church regularly. She is survived by her loving son, John K. Snelgrove, Jr. and his girlfriend Michelle Ciulla of Raynham; her adored grandchildren, Noah Snelgrove (18yrs old) and Emma Snelgrove (16 yrs. old) both of Raynham; her siblings Edward Stern and Robert Stern both of Brockton, and Joseph Stern of Nevada; her nephew, Joseph Angelo of West Bridgewater and her grandog, Oliver Snoopy Snelgrove, whom she cherished. She was the sister of the late Dorothy (Stern) Chubbick, Richard Stern and Mary (Stern) Angelo and aunt of the late State Representative, Louis F. Angelo and Ralph Angelo. Funeral Information Funeral from the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 165 Belmont St., (RT123) Brockton on Thursday, May 18th at 9:00AM thence to Christ the King Parish, 54 Lyman St., Brockton where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated for the repose of her soul at 10:00AM. Interment will follow in the Melrose Cemetery, Brockton. Calling hours in the funeral home Wednesday from 4:00PM - 8:00PM.
