Kathleen (Kathie) Ann (Meaney) Still, formerly of West Bridgewater, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at Linden Ponds in Hingham.

Born October 6, 1944 in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. Meaney, and Terese (Croce) Meaney. Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Bridgewater State University.

Kathleen was the Director of the Massachusetts Controller's Office, former Regional Vice President (2 terms) for the Association of Government Accountants, former President of the Boston AGA Chapter, former chair for C6I Customer Advisory Board and long time Member of the Department 56 Club.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, working in her yard and playing cribbage with her friends.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Michael Still; her grandchildren, Sierra, Benjamin and Taylor; her brother, Edward Meaney and his wife Carolyn. She was also the mother of the late Mark Still.

The family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army for those less fortunate.
