IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Keith K.
Carlson
April 19, 1947 – January 16, 2024
Keith Kimball Carlson passed away peacefully on January 16, 2024, with his wife by his side after a long illness. He was one of four children to former Brockton Police Sargeant Walter Carlson and Joanne Carlson. As a lifelong resident of Brockton and former Police Lieutenant for the City of Boston (which he served for 40 years), service to his community was a big part of his 76 years on this earth. Prior to joining the police, he served one tour of duty in the army during the Korean War. Following his retirement much of his time was spent enjoying special moments with family and friends particularly aboard his boat during the warmer season. Most of his boating adventures centered around Port Norfolk Yacht Club for which he was a lifelong member as well as a past Commadore.
Keith is survived by his wife of 52 years, Linda Carlson, his son and daughter-in law Eric and Sue Carlson, his son and daughter-in law Shawn and Shannon Carlson; grandchildren Kayla Carlson, Bailey Carlson, and Brayden Carlson, great grandchildren Brody McGaffigan and Rylee O'Donnell.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to Cops for Kids with Cancer or Tunnel to Towers Foundation Homeless Veterans Program in Keith's name. A memorial gathering will be held at the Russell & Pica Funeral Home, 441 South Main Street, West Bridgewater, MA on January 24th from 4 to 7 p.m. His funeral service will be held from the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 900 Main Street Brockton on Thursday January 25th at 10:00 am.
