Kellie J. Lopes Kellie Jayne Lopes, 46, a Boston resident, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 19, 2010. Kellie was born on January 4, 1964 in Boston, she was the daughter of Julia Anne Lopes of Scituate, MA and the late Joseph Lopes. Kellie attended Boston Public Schools systems and went on to earn her CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate); a position which she served for 14 years. Kellie enjoyed serving as a caretaker here in Massachusetts and Maryland. Kellie was an exceptional person when it came to helping others. Kellie loved to cook, party and knew how to have a good time. She loved and adored immensely her six children and two grandchildren. Kellie leaves to cherish her memory her loving children; from oldest to youngest; Krystal Lopes, Joshua Nixon, Khalia, Kawannza, James and Kayanna Butler... Her grandchildren: Makel Lopes and Khia Bush. Kellie is also survived by her mother, Julia Anne Lopes and her sisters and brothers: Jay Lopes of Houston, Texas, Kim McLeon of Braintree, MA, Karen Sullivan of Plano, Texas and Anthony Lopes of Beverly, MA. She also leaves to mourn a host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family relatives and numerous friends... Kellie will be dearly missed by all of those who were blessed to know her. Funeral Information Calling hours in the New Life Christian Church, 184 West Elm St., Brockton on Saturday from 11:00AM-12:00PM followed by a funeral service at 12:00PM. Private cremation to follow.
